Wonderful initiative by Rotary Club Of Jawalakhel ManjushreeRotary Club Of Sainbu Bhainsepati and Rotary Club of Patan Durbar Square to organise a health camp at Dukuchap, Godawari Ward 8, at Chandadevi Prathmik Vidalaya on 17 th September, 2022.The health camp included Dental, Orthopaedic, General Check-up and Dermatology. Basic medicines were also distributed for free like vitamins and issue related meds.
Despite the constant rain, we had a steady stream of locals who kept coming, we managed to reach out to about 300 locals and what was encouraging was the awareness and the need to checked up by the locals.
Only a hours drive from the city, this school needs all the help you can give. The school is to class 5, can do with more toilets and perfect place to change it into a “Happy school”.
Big Thankyou to all the doctors and nurses of Star Hospital, the local health post team, Headmaster of the school and the volunteers from the village itself who helped to spread the word and assisted the elderly to make this programme a success.
